The Berlin Ramen Festival aims to be more than just a culinary gateway to Japan — we also want to take responsibility.
Over the past years, we’ve seen how much single-use waste a festival can generate. This year, we want to actively change that.
That’s why we are introducing a sustainability concept designed to conserve resources and reduce disposable packaging.
Together with you, we want to create a festival that is not only delicious, but also mindful and responsible.
Reusable System
Here’s how the deposit system at the Berlin Ramen Festival works.
Please be kind and patient — this system is new for everyone.
Reusable tableware
You will receive your dish directly at the stand in a reusable bowl or plate.
A deposit is added to the price of your dish.
Deposit: €5
Fresh with every order
Ready to try your next dish?
Simply bring your used tableware to the next stand and receive your new dish in clean tableware.
Return at the exit
Finished eating and no longer need your bowl?
Return your tableware at the info stand (near the exit) and receive your deposit back.
Lost or damaged items
In case of lost or broken tableware, the deposit unfortunately cannot be refunded.
